New Chairman for WANO

The Governing Board of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) announced that Laurent Stricker will succeed William Cavanaugh III as Chairman of WANO. Mr Cavanaugh steps down after four and a half years as Chairman. The announcement was made during the recent WANO Governing Board meeting in London.

WANO is an international organisation that promotes safe and reliable operation at more than 440 member commercial nuclear units worldwide.
