WANO: Global leadership in nuclear safety

Permanent Positions

If you would like to make a more permanent move, WANO offers the opportunity to support the nuclear industry on a global scale. Permanent staff members receive a competitive salary, several training opportunities as well as the opportunity for global travel with the organisation. Due to the high volume of applications, unfortunately we cannot reply to all personally. Applications received after the closing date of the vacancy will not be considered.

Secondee Positions

Secondees are provided to WANO from members and stay for anywhere from two to three years. Depending on the department, they can gain an in-depth knowledge of different reactor types, event trends, communications and business management. Each secondee brings back substantial awareness of the importance of safety in a nuclear environment and close connections with other members of the industry. As part of their role, secondees will travel in accordance with tasks related to their assigned WANO programme (Peer Reviews, Technical Member Support Missions or event investigation teams) and have the opportunity to interact with and learn from nuclear professionals around the world. Current vacancies are for positions in the London Office, giving successful applicants the chance to become immersed in one of the most multi-cultural and dynamic cities in the world.
