What does the Industry Performance Improvement Team do?
The Industry Performance Improvement team is responsible for providing the framework for developing and deploying effective support and assistance activities to our members. Utilising a range of performance improvement tools, we support Regional Centres to design and develop support plans based on member needs.
Support and assistance tools are varied and are designed to provide insights on how to continuously improve industry performance through the sharing of best practices, knowledge and skill development and exchange of information and learning.
The Industry Performance Improvement team prides itself on having diversity in our range of skills and abilities. More commonly, the delivery of activities through our behaviours that underpin a high level of leadership performance. As the industry evolves we must also adapt to the changing environment and use leaner processes to focus in on the key drivers that underpin our plants performance. Industry Performance Improvement Director
Key responsibilities include being the strategic lead for WANO initiatives, programmes, processes, and guidance on communications and activities regarding organisational performance, including focused assistance, leadership and development, industry learning and development, and organisational diagnostics and improvement.
Industry Learning and Development Senior Advisor
Key responsibilities include assisting the Industry Performance Improvement team by producing value-added products (including training materials) for regional centre and member use.
Industry Performance Improvement and Support Manager
Key responsibilities include being is the primary point of contact for WANO Regional Centres for all governance, oversight and support activities pertaining to industry support and performance improvement, as defined in the WANO integrated suite of services model.
