Peer Review
The heart of WANO’s Suite of Products and Services.
What does the Peer Review Team do?
The Peer Review team is dedicated to helping members achieve excellence in nuclear safety and plant reliability. By conducting in-depth, objective reviews of operations with an independent team from outside of the utility, we provide valuable insights through comprehensive reports that highlight strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Through peer reviews, members can compare themselves against high standards, learn from global best practices, and enhance their performance.
As the industry evolves we must also adapt to the changing environment and use leaner processes to focus in on the key drivers that underpin our plants performance. Our staff are the key to this change and we need to grow the proficiency of our teams and encourage a culture of openness, challenge and respect across the wide range of countries we support in their ambitions.
