Wellbeing at the London Office

Community

The London Office strives to maintain an inclusive culture where people come together to collaborate and share. Engagement Days are held throughout the year and are the perfect setting to build relationships whilst helping to shape the future of the organisation.

Financial

At the London Office we understand that financial stability is a crucial aspect of wellbeing. Annual salary banding reviews take place, along with a designated financial wellbeing month. Pension reviews are arranged and staff have access to Perkbox – a specialised discount platform.

Mental

Staff’s mental health is a top priority for the London Office. Support is in place through policies, an Employee Assistance Programme and a designated mental health first aider all available to staff. Awareness sessions are also hosted in conjunction with leading external charities.

Physical

Maintaining good physical health is essential for overall wellbeing. Staff are encouraged to take regular breaks and move around their working environment. The WANO Walking Champions competition takes place every May.

Professional Development

WANO’s ethos is about continuous learning and development through the sharing of knowledge and experience; conversations about career aspirations take place each quarter and regular learning sessions are available for all staff.

Social

Building and maintaining relationships is key to WANO’s success and we recognise the importance of taking time away from work. Through a mix of birthday celebrations, leaving parties, Christmas and Summer parties we make sure there are plenty of opportunities to interact outside of the work environment.
