Inaugural Maintenance Industry Working Group Meeting Takes Place
The meeting consisted of members and WANO presentations, group discussions and updates from the three sub-groups.
The very first Maintenance Industry Working Group (MA I-WG) hybrid meeting was hosted by EDF Energy NNB at Hinkley Point C in the UK from 25 to 27 March 2025 and was attended by 53 nuclear professionals from across the globe.
The meeting was moderated by I-WG Chair, Charles Evans of EDF Energy and support was provided through the attendance and engagement of members from; APS, Bruce Power, Cernavoda, CEZ, a.s., CNNP, EDF, EDF Energy, EPRI, Iberdrola, INPO, KHNP, Kozloduy NPP, MVM Paksi Atomeromu Zrt, Nucleoeléctrica Argentina S.A., OPG, Paks II, Ringhals AB, Slovenské elektrárne, a.s., TVA and TVO), as well as the IAEA and several members of the global WANO team.

The two-day meeting was followed by a tour of the Hinkley Point C Site which is currently under construction.
