Happy New Year and welcome to the latest issue of Inside WANO.

This edition features key topics delivered by speakers at WANO’s first ever virtual Site Vice Presidents’ and Plant Managers’ Conference. For members who could not attend the conference and would like to view a full recording of all the speakers, it is available on WANO’s member website.

Thank you all for your continued collaboration, sharing of information and mutual support – especially in relation to the challenges posed by the pandemic.

WANO’s immediate focus is working closely with members to support them in maintaining high levels of nuclear safety and reliability at their plants. Over the coming months we will continue to support each other. We are hopeful that we can return to a better place, a ‘new normal’ across the world.

For our members, please continue to visit the COVID-19 Resource Centre on the WANO member website. It contains valuable operating experience and best practices shared from member plants across the world on how to deal with issues related to the pandemic.
